Just in time for the next pint
Air Charter Service (ACS) Mexico recently organised an urgent charter to prevent a brewery shutdown in Mexico City. A leading beverage manufacturer needed over half a ton of beer hops flown from Washington State to Mexico within 24 hours.
ACS, with 37 offices worldwide, specialises in time-critical cargo, private jet, and airliner charters, handling over 30,000 flights per year, sourced a Falcon 20 business jet with a cargo door that could accommodate the 561-kg shipment on a single pallet.
"We had to move quickly, especially since the cargo wasn’t refrigerated. All parties worked together to expedite customs, loading and offloading," said Marco Circosta, CEO of ACS Mexico. From first contact to completion, the entire operation took under 20 hours. The swift delivery ensured that the client’s production line remained operational. (ah)
