Korean polyethylene en route to Turkey


Russian-based Trans Container and Korean company Taewoong Logistics have arranged the first freight transport from the Republic of Korea to Turkey via the ports of Far East and Novorossiysk on the Black Sea in Russia.

 

112 containers loaded with polyethylene arrived from Busan at the Vostochnaya stevedoring terminal on 9 September 2021. From there, they were sent on by a block train to Novorossiysk. Railway transit time took eleven days. At Novorossiysk, the cargo was despatched by sea to ports in Turkey, including Ambarli, Mersin and Izmir.

 

Within this shipment, Trans Container provides containers along the entre route and arranges railway transportation in Russia from Nakhodka to Novorossiysk. (ben)
