Latam Cargo adds five freighter frequencies to Europe
The Latam Cargo Group and its subsidiaries are set to expand their freighter capacity between South America and Europe by 25% this winter.
Starting in October, the group will operate 15 weekly Boeing B767F flights in each direction, up from 12. With the new frequencies, Latam aims to offer improved delivery times, broader destination coverage and more flexibility through its hubs in São Paulo, Santiago and Lima. The expanded service will also strengthen industry-specific corridors to cities like Montevideo, Buenos Aires and Florianópolis.
From Europe, the new schedule provides three daily departures on five days per week. Latam currently holds a 23% market share of cargo capacity between the two continents. (ah)
