LNG to China via MOL

Tokyo-based MOL is focusing on its LNG activities. Through a wholly owned subsidiary, the carrier signed a long-term charter contract for three newbuilding LNG carriers with ENN LNG (Singapore).

The ENN holding’s headquarters are in Langfang City in Hebei Province, China. The vessels will be constructed at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (China) and are slated for delivery by 2028.

After delivery, the vessels will be engaged mainly in transport of LNG to China, procured by ENN under long-term purchases contract.

ENN is a privately owned energy company that has customers in more than 20 provinces in China. It supplies 10% of natural gas consumption in China and operates an LNG terminal in the Zhoushan area of Zhejiang Province. (sh)
