"Logistician of the Year" expands in France

It’s a busy time for Gruber Logistics, a South Tyrolean logistics provider, as it has recently opened a new French branch and won the “Logistician of the Year” award in Milan. The company has been present in France for 15 years and has now decided to open its own hub in Lyon. The site will initially focus on full load transport (FTL) and exceptional transport (XTL).

With the award, Gruber was recognised for its progress in internationalising its business. THe company acquired the German Universal Transport Group at the end of 2022, bringing the number of branches to 60 in 14 countries operating a fleet of 850 vehicles and 1,500 trailers.

Martin Gruber, CEO of the Universal Transport Group: "We never thought of this as an end point for us and with this opening in France we confirm our international and expansive approach." (mk)
