Low-bed trailer to simplify machine logistics
To avoid costly permits for tall loads, German construction equipment specialist Bode Bautechnik, which has been selling and hiring out construction machinery of all sizes for 35 years, now relies on a Doll low-bed trailer X with tera pendular axle. The 3-axle trailer, built by Black Forest-based Doll Fahrzeugbau, enables legal road transport of large machines like 37-t tracked excavators by keeping total height under four metres, even in steep terrain.
Bode also benefits from Doll’s digital control systems. Thanks to the "DOLL control" display and "DOLL connect" remote control, functions like load monitoring and axle steering can be managed from the driver’s seat. Combined with flexible options such as telescopic loading surfaces and a sliding support frame, the trailer offers versatility for both machine and material transport. (ah)
