Lynden to modernise Hercules aircraft with Moog
Lynden Air Cargo has partnered with Moog to upgrade its fleet of Lockheed L-382G Hercules aircraft with the Genesys Avionics Suite.
The modernisation includes new avionics, autopilot systems and software integration. The first installation is scheduled for 2026.
“This critical upgrade reinforces our focus on safety, efficiency and performance,” said Lynden Air Cargo president Scott Hicks.
The Anchorage-based carrier specialises in freight transport to remote areas and views the project as key to meeting evolving operational demands. The fleet update supports Lynden’s broader strategy of innovation and sustainability.
The airline, a part of the Lynden group, plays a vital role in air logistics in Alaska, the Pacific Northwest and beyond. (ah)
