M&M opens maritime hub in Fujairah
Militzer & Münch has opened an office in Fujairah (United Arab Emirates), aiming to strengthen its maritime logistics services.
The site, active since mid-August, focuses on ship supplies, spare parts logistics and complementary services. Located in the Fujairah anchorage area on the Gulf of Oman near the Strait of Hormuz, the branch positions the group in one of the world’s key maritime service hubs. According to Militzer & Münch the area is internationally recognised for ship spares, bunkering, crew changes and repairs, making the multipurpose port an important base for shipowners and operators.
Nikolaus Kohler, M&M's regional managing director for the Middle East and Central Asia, said the opening marks a strategic step in expanding long-standing sea logistics activities and underlines growth in the Middle East. Under the leadership of Anil Manath and Praful Mullassery, the Fujairah team will provide supply solutions for the region and Militzer & Münch's global network. (js)
