M&M tightens grip on Maghreb market

In order to extend its footprint in the Magrheb countries, Militzer & Münch France has bought back 100% of the shares of the companies ITP and ITPL of the LPS group (Logistique et Prestations de Services Sas). Cargo flows in the pharmacy and spare parts sectors are involved. Through the takeover of LPS, M&M France acquires two commission agents in transport and customs: ITP (Inter Transit Pharma) and ITPL (Inter Transit et Prestations Logistics).

Created in 1996, the LPS group has a 12,000 sqm platform in Vitrolles comprising a warehouse of 5,000 sqm and an order preparation and labelling area of 800 sqm.

The transaction took place on 8 December. ITP and ITPL companies will retain their management autonomy. For this purpose, Jean-Louis Poirier, the manager of LPS, will also remain in office. (sh)
