"Made in Japan" cool chain goes global
From this month, ANA Trading will begin overseas sales of Topre’s RKN air cargo cool containers, expanding Japan’s temperature-controlled logistics technology to global markets. The move follows a newly signed sales agency agreement between ANA Trading and Toprec Corporation, part of the Topre Group and Japan’s leading manufacturer of refrigerated trucks.
Certified by both the FAA and JCAB, the RKN containers maintain temperatures of −20°C for 24 hours or 5°C for 45 hours even in 35°C ambient conditions, ensuring safe air transport of frozen and chilled goods such as food and pharmaceuticals.
Topre, Japan’s only ULD manufacturer, has supplied the containers domestically since 2022, with adoption by major Japanese airlines including All Nippon Airways. ANA Trading aims to promote this "Made in Japan" cold chain technology worldwide amid rising global demand for reliable frozen food transport solutions. (ah)
