Maintaining one CEIV status, targeting others
EgyptAir Cargo has successfully renewed its Iata CEIV Pharma certification, affirming its continued compliance with global standards for the handling of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical shipments.
Chairman Ahmed Adel noted that the renewal boosts customer confidence and strengthens EgyptAir’s international market position. The process involved a detailed audit of procedures at Cairo and Borg El Arab cargo terminals, including assessments of staff training, equipment maintenance and temperature control systems.
EgyptAir Cargo is now targeting additional Iata certifications, including CEIV Lithium Batteries, Fresh and Live Animals. (ah)
