Medway expands hinterland services
From tomorrow, Friday, 1 July 2022, Medway Italia (part of MSC) will connect the Belgian seaport of Antwerp and the German terminals in Frankfurt, Wörth, Germersheim and Neuss with fourteen departures a week. The transports will be managed by the Belgian branch.
The trains to Neuss run via the Brabant line between Roosendaal and Venlo (both in the Netherlands), for which the carrier recently received official permission from infrastructure manager Pro Rail.
Medway is taking over the transports from third parties on this route, so that the number of trains running on Dutch territory is not increased overall. The shuttles on the other German connections will be routed via Achen. (ben)
