Mol Plus launches marine desk
Mol Plus has launched the 'Mol Plus Marine Desk', to deepen collaboration between maritime start-ups and the Mol Group.
The desk, led by Satoshi Yamane (on the left), who is a member of Mol’s maritime safety division, supports knowledge-sharing, match-making and joint development. It will introduce Mol Group contacts to relevant start-up projects, communicate R&D needs and represent the group at start-up events.
CEO Takuya Sakamoto said the desk will shorten internal communication paths and enhance understanding of operational issues in shipping. Mol Plus aims to boost the success rate of maritime collaboration and accelerate the commercialisation of start-up solutions. (ah)
