More Ikea for Wincanton
Ikea has extended its contract with Wincanton in UK to operate its customer distribution centres (CDCs) in Medway, Kent and Harlow, Essex, for five and two years respectively. In addition, Wincanton will continue to provide logistics services for Ikea’s customers in Greater London and the South-East.
The new tasks focus particularly on digital and e-fulfilment services. James Wroath, CEO of Wincanton, called the contract extension “another important step in our long-standing relationship with Ikea." (sh)
