More incentives for climate protection
The German association of freight forwarders and logistics operators (DSLV) has called for a comprehensive funding strategy to boost the logistics industry’s already substantial efforts to achieve sustainable CO2 reductions under conditions that are economically acceptable.
Together with five other logistics and transport association, DSLV has drafted its recommendations for a strategy up to 2030. In their position paper, the associations demand an appropriate combination of medium and long-term incentives, such as partial and complete toll exemptions, tax reliefs as well as direct funding for the procurement and retrofitting of trucks.
