More links between Asia and West Africa


Demand for shipping services is growing in West Africa. Given this, OOCL is introducing the West Africa service 1 (WAF1) and West Africa service 3 (WAF3) on 6 November and 31 October respectively.

 

The two services will focus on the link between Asia and West Africa, with direct calls to strategic ports including Apapa, Tincan, Tema and Abidjan.

 

The WAF1 rotation will be: Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Singapore, Port Kelang, Colombo, Apapa, Tincan, Tema, Port Kelang, Singapore and Qingdao.

 

WAF3 will call Shanghai, Zhoushan, Xiamen, Shekou, Nansha, Singapore, Tema, Abidjan, Colombo, Port Kelang, Singapore and Shanghai. Both service will commence in Shanghai. The “Rosa” will be deployed on WAF1 and the “Kota Lang” on WAF3. (kd)
