MyCrane adds live-auction tool
MyCrane has introduced a new live-auction feature on its digital crane rental platform, aiming to reduce costs and speed up procurement.
The tool supports multiple formats, including reverse auctions, allowing customers to receive real-time bids from verified suppliers. The system is expected to cut sourcing time by up to 60% and generate cost savings of 10–20%.
The tool will Initially be available for crane rentals and also cover transport services soon.
Customers gain greater transparency and control, while suppliers can compete fairly on pricing and availability. CEO Andrei Geikalo said the new feature helps modernise rental procurement by enabling instant, transparent pricing comparison. The auction is optional and can also be used for complex or time-sensitive jobs.
MyCrane is based in Dubai, operates globally and provides rental access to cranes with up to 4,000 t capacity.
