Nauru Airlines forges partnership with Afcom
Nauru Airlines announced a six-year strategic partnership with Afcom Holdings, a Chennai-based aviation firm. This agreement enhances collaboration and aims to expand Nauru Airlines' network beyond its current regional operations. Minister Asterio Appi highlighted the mutual benefits expected from this partnership, while Afcom described it as a vital step in expanding its cargo operations in the trans-continental pacific corridors, promoting improved connectivity and trade.
Afcom's chairman, Deepak Parasuraman, noted that the collaboration marks a transformative phase for the company, enhancing its presence in Australia and the Pacific. The partnership creates advantages such as better access to Australian markets, new trade lanes and operational flexibility. Nauru Airlines, known for its charter operations and diverse services, seeks to enhance cargo solutions and strengthen trade connections in the region through this strategic alliance.
