Navigating shipping's emissions overhaul
Britannia P&I Club and law firm HFW have launched a new article series to help shipowners and charterers navigate complex emissions rules.
The materials cover key regulations such as CII, EEXI, EU ETS and FuelEU. With shipping facing fast-evolving environmental legislation, the partnership aims to provide clarity on compliance and legal implications.
"Regulations have an impact on fuel choices and contracts in the sector," said Alessio Sbraga, sustainability lead at HFW. Britannia has also published a glossary and regulatory timeline through to 2045.
