Nelt links Balkans to the European Food Network
Nelt, a Belgrade-based distribution, logistics and trade marketing enterprise, has established a cooperation with the European Food Network, Europe’s largest food logistics network, headed by the German food logistics provider Dachser.
A weekly transport line now connects European food exporters with markets in Serbia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Food exporters in the western Balkan region are also benefiting from this new cooperation. They now have access to 34 countries in Europe via Nelt. The network covers 34 European countries, operates warehouses with a total storage area of around 1.74 million sqm, and has around 10,500 reefer trucks at its disposal. (ah)
