New container train service from Slovenia to Poland


The rail operator Baltic Rail has started a new service between the port of Koper (Slovenia) and Wroclaw (Poland). The weekly service departs from Koper every Wednesday at 22.00 and from Wroclaw every Sunday at 22.00. The train is comprised of intermodal wagons for containers and it will also haul special flat-rack wagons designed for steel coils, as well as palletized and long cargo. The transit time is 34 hours one way and pre/post carriage by truck is available. (ben)
