New entity for exchange of port information
The Port of Rotterdam launched its new company Portxchange Products (“Portxchange”) recently. This entity will offer the Pronto platform and application to ports on a worldwide scale over the next few years.
First strategic partners are the Shell International Trading and Shipping Company and A.P. Moller - Maersk. The launch of Portxchange provides a platform to create new strategic partnerships with ports, shipping companies and terminals, geared towards implementing smart digital solutions like Pronto in ports worldwide.
The establishment of a separate company will enable partnerships with a variety of global players, especially in Europe and the US. (cd)
