New freighter jets for North America

Miami-based Amerijet, which operates its own dedicated freighter fleet of B767 throughout the USA, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, as well as Western Europe, is to begin piloting A321-200P2F operations as early as this month. The company has signed a wet-lease agreement with the British Titan Airways to this effect.

Meanwhile, the Canadian cargo carrier Cargojet has detailed plans for its fleet and route expansion to meet domestic and international growth opportunities starting 2021 and beyond. Five B767 freighters, announced earlier, will begin arriving in 2021 with the first freighter coming in Q3 of this year and one additional freighter arriving every quarter thereafter. Two B777 freighters are expected in 2023 with Cargojet having the option to add two more B777s in 2024. (ah)
