New head for new US office

Expanding its international operations, Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has opened a new office in Parsippany, NJ, USA.

"We’ll be neighbours with some of the largest freight forwarders in the world and we’ll be introducing ourselves to new customers nationwide," said Ben Hampton who has been hired to lead the new office.

With over ten years in the aviation industry, Hampton joins Chapman Freeborn as the cargo director for the Northeastern USA. Prior to joining, he was the director of sales for a part 135 operator, and before that he was assistant director of US cargo for a global charter brokerage.

Chapman Freeborn's fourth office in the USA will also support passenger charter sales and the long-term growth plans of Magma Aviation’s scheduled service operations and its fleet of B747 freighters. (amh)
