New leadership for UK freight association
The British International Freight Association (Bifa) has appointed Keith Baguley (centre) as its new national chair for a two-year term.
Baguley, a senior manager at the Grimaldi Group, previously served as Bifa’s vice-chair and as the chair of its Merseyside region (since 2018). He succeeds Charles Hogg, chief commercial officer at Unsworth, who now becomes the immediate past chair.
Ian Mallon (left), managing director at Neon Freight, has been elected vice-chair. Mallon brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the role. Bifa director general Steve Parker (right) welcomed the appointments and thanked Hogg for his longstanding contribution, noting that the new leadership team’s operational expertise will strongly benefit the association and its members.
