New logistics facility at German-French border

Panattoni is building a new hub comprising 25,000 sqm of logistics and industrial areas in Kleinblittersdorf (Saarland, Germany). On a former factory site, the company is planning two construction phases.

In 2019, the automotive supplier HBPO already secured the first phase and intends to use the new facility to manufacture the front ends for a new Mercedes-Benz model that will be produced in Hambach in France as from autumn this year.

The second construction phase, which features a rentable area of around 10,000 sqm, is still open for potential lessees, whereby the smallest unit measures about 4,800 sqm. The second phase is expected to be completed by June 2020.

Situated at the German-French border to the south of Saarbrücken and close to the motorways, the property has excellent connections to local traffic networks. With Saarbrücken airport nearby and links to the railway network on site, the estate also has easy access to public transport. (mw)
