New rail service between Lithuania and Ukraine

Containerships has launched a new rail service between Klaipeda (Lithuania) and Kiev (Ukraine). The transit time between the KKT terminal in Lithuania and the company’s own Brovary terminal in the Ukraine is 50 hours.

The dry port is equipped with two cranes (65 t and 12 t) with access to containers on railway platforms. The KKT terminal provides full range of cargo handling services in Klaipeda port.

For the new service, Containerships uses its own fleet of railway platforms and offers heavy payload container solutions, special containers, options for temperature-controlled deliveries as well as last-mile deliveries with its own trucks and further deliveries by truck or rail to any destination in the Ukraine.
