New refrigerated warehouse in the Port of Dunkirk

In the Port of Dunkirk (France) the foundations have been laid for a new refrigerated warehouse for Nofrigo. Nofrigo is a joint venture of the sea food producer Le Garrec and the cool logistics services provider Stef.

The facility will have a storage capacity of 48,000 cbm and 10,400 pallets and offer options for expansion in the medium term. The new hub will create jobs for around fifteen employees and will complement Norfrigo’s warehouse in Boulogne-sur-Mer.

Stanislas Lemor, CEO of Stef, says: "Nofrigo’s presence in Dunkirk is a further step in our partnership with Le Garrec. Now we can extend our logistics portfolio and thus meet the needs of the industrial and agricultural sectors. We also hope that the new facility will secure advantages for the port."

Stéphane Raison, CEO of the Port of Dunkirk, shares this view: "Over the past few years we have recognised the importance of the cool logistics chain and we welcome Norfrigo’s commitment to the port.” (mw)
