New service between Miramas, Duisburg and Cologne
The Frankfurt (Germany)-based intermodal operator Kombiverkehr KG now provides rail access to the Marseille-Avignon industrial region in France with a new service. From Germany, trains start in Cologne and Duisburg on Mondays through to Thursdays and on Saturdays. They will run to the Miramas terminal by the Mediterranean via Lyon. Until the start of this new service, Kombiverkehr only served terminals in the centre of France (Lyon) and in the south-west (Bayonne). (ben)
