New service from Europe to Nigeria

The Netherlands-based Universal Africa Lines (UAL) and Julius Berger Services Nigeria (JBSN) will cooperate on a new service. With immediate effect, UAL will start a monthly service from Europe to the port of Warri, Nigeria. In Warri, UAL will be calling at the terminal of Julius Berger Nigeria.

JBSN has served as a multipurpose terminal operator at the Warri Port – Terminal C since 2007 and, besides stevedoring, storage and custom clearing, offers shipping services for importing and exporting goods to and from Nigeria. UAL has been serving the West African market for over 45 years with regular direct liner services between the US Gulf, Northwest Europe and the West African ports.

This new monthly service will offer a transit time of 30 days, without transshipments. Breakbulk, project cargoes, and containers are accepted. “The port of Warri is centrally positioned in Nigeria and, today, Lagos traffic is completely blocked," says Harald Maas, director of UAL Netherlands.
