New shuttle to link Gliwice with Pordenone

Swiss combined transport specialist Hupac is offering new opportunities for climate-friendly road-rail transport between Italy and Poland.

Next Monday, 10 October 2022, a direct shuttle train will start in Gliwice (Poland), in the centre of one of Europe's most important industrial areas, and travel to Pordenone in north-eastern Italy. The first departure in the opposite direction will be two days later, on 12 October 2022. The new train is open to all transport companies, the intermodal operator says.

The new Gliwice - Pordenone shuttle will initially operate with a frequency of three departures per week. The route of about 900 km will be covered in an attractive A/C running time.

Traction is provided by Mercitalia Rail, terminal partners are Hupac SpA in Pordenone and PKP Cargo Connect in Gliwice. (ben)
