New weekly service between Rome and Tel Aviv

On Saturday, 10 April 2021, Poste Air Cargo launched a new weekly cargo flight between Rome FCO and Tel Aviv.

The new route for the Poste Italiane Group’s cargo airline, which connects seven Italian airports with its Brescia hub every night, is part of its plan to expand its international footprint, especially in the Mediterranean.

Israel's financial and economic powerhouse is Poste Air Cargo’s first scheduled international destination, providing importers and exporters with a direct connection for both high-value products (pharma, aerospace and perishables) and other types of air freight. The air link offers both markets a yearly main-deck capacity of 825 t / 500 pallets / 7,500 cbm.

The carrier's fleet, which also operates in the international air cargo charter market, has been renewed with the addition of two B737-400Fs, increasing the number of its aircraft to seven.

Don't miss ITJ 17-18/2021 out Friday this week, 16 April 2021, with a supplement on Italy, also available in Italian! (ah)
