Noel Hacegaba considered for port CEO position
The Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners will consider Dr Noel Hacegaba for the position of chief executive officer of the port of Long Beach, effective 1 January 2026. Currently the port's chief operating officer, Hacegaba succeeds Mario Cordero, who is stepping down after leading the port through significant cargo growth and modernisation during the pandemic.
President Frank Colonna praised Hacegaba as the ideal choice, highlighting his extensive experience in managing key port functions and deep industry knowledge. With 15 years in senior roles, he has overseen operations including commercial services and strategic advocacy.
