Nordic growth for Lineage
Lineage has acquired Permanor, a Norwegian cold storage provider with sites in Haugesund and Brumunddal.
The deal strengthens Lineage’s position in the Nordics and adds around 24,500 pallet positions across 10,000 m². Permanor specialises in freezing, thawing and logistics for the meat and food sector. Its Haugesund facility, equipped with 880 solar panels, also reflects a shared commitment to sustainability according to Lineage.
The acquisition brings key personnel into the Lineage team, including CEO Hege Skogland Mokleiv. “We love their vision for the industry, and we are happy to be invited into the family” he said. According to Sean Vanderelzen, President of Europe at Lineage, Mokleiv is bringing "a shared passion for innovation, responsibility and excellence that perfectly aligns with our culture". (js)
