Nova Marine acquires another vessel

Lugano (Switzerland)-based shipping company Nova Marine Carriers has acquired another handy size bulker. The company finalised the purchase of a 37.000 dwt handy-size bulk carrier that has been renamed “Sider Supreme”.

Delivered by the Japanese yard Minami Nippon in November 2016, this new vessel is due to confirm the group´s strategy aimed at strengthening its position within the handy size market sector.

The new bulker will complement three other, similar vessels, the 38.000dwt “Sider Olympia” that joined the Nova Marine fleet a few days ago and the two sister ships “Sider Monte di Procida” (delivered at the beginning of this year by the Shimanami yard) and “Sider Onda”. (cd)
