Okuku comes back to Maersk

Maersk has appointed Tito Okuku as Managing Director for Eastern Africa, effective 5 May. With over 25 years of logistics and supply chain leadership, he brings experience from across African markets, including warehousing, fleet, and landside operations.

Okuku previously led APM Terminals Kenya and now returns to the Maersk Group to oversee operations in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and more. His appointment aligns with Maersk’s commitment to strong local leadership and deeper regional partnerships.

Richard Morgan, Maersk’s MD for IMEA, praised Okuku’s people-focused leadership. Okuku said he looks forward to delivering agile, resilient logistics solutions that create shared growth and enable trade in this dynamic region. (ah)
