Pactl reinforces reach and joins Cargo iQ
At Transport Logistic 2025 in Munich, Pactl–Shanghai Pudong Int’l Airport Cargo Terminal, a joint venture between the Shanghai Airport Group and Lufthansa Cargo, showcased its strategy for the first time and reaffirmed its Cargo iQ membership, originally announced in Dubai.
The handler, which processed more than 2 million t of freight in 2024 for more than 70 airlines and 300 forwarders, signed mous with Ethiopian Airlines and Lufthansa Cargo Servicios Logísticos de México, thus further extending its overseas terminal network.
In a seminar with Time Matters, also part of Lufthansa Cargo, it presented its fast-handling corridor at PVG. Carsten Hernig, Deputy GM since 2023, underlined the fact that these developments reflect Pactl's ambition to balance digitalisation, service quality and global cooperation. (ah)
