Pacurion expands pallet debt service
Pacurion has extended its services in Europe by taking over pallet debts for logistics companies. The firm has long handled the physical settlement of load carrier imbalances, ensuring that missing pallets are delivered where required. Dennis Maschmeyer (pictured), co-founder and co-CEO of Pacurion, explained that the company supplies the required load carriers in the agreed quality directly to locations.
Following a nine-month trial with Recht logistik group, Pacurion now also offers a full assumption of pallet debts, both physical and monetary. The pilot started nin months ago. Recht Logistik operates 14 sites across Germany and supported the trial. "In the context of our customer relationships, the settlement of pallet debts is more of a burdensome issue and is not part of a logistics provider's core business," added Navid Thielemann, CEO of Thielemanngroup, which holds stakes in Recht logistik group and Pacurion.
