Pan-European road network
One year after cargo-partner joined Nippon Express Holdings, the two companies have launched the 'One Road' initiative to unify their road transport operations across Europe. The strategic integration combines cargo-partner’s strengths in Central and Eastern Europe with Nippon Express’s established presence in the West. The resulting network delivers groupage, LTL, and FTL services with the aim of shorter transit times and broad regional coverage.
Measures include full integration in Italy, where joint services already connect Nippon Express’s Lainate hub with cargo-partner depots in Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria and beyond. Since February 2025, direct linehaul services also link Polish cargo-partner hubs to NX offices in Italy. The collaboration will extend to Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK in the future. (js)
