Partnership for resort logistics
DP World has signed a strategic partnership with Atlantis Dubai resorts to manage logistics operations for Atlantis' 'The Palm' and 'The Royal'.
The agreement covers daily deliveries of perishables, dry goods and speciality items, with nearly 7,000 pallets handled through DP World’s network. Services include temperature-controlled storage, inventory management and real-time cargo tracking.
Atlantis operates a supply chain with more than 60,000 products sourced from almost 70 countries, ranging from food ingredients to retail merchandise. Abdulla Bin Damithan, CEO and managing director of DP World GCC, said the model provides hotels with flexibility and efficiency while meeting the standards of the luxury segment. (js)
