Pelican ready for take-off
A2Z has begun to roll out its new flagship long-range delivery drone, the "RDSX Pelican". Capable of carrying payloads up to 5 kg on routes up to 40 km, the drone is claimed to be "a highly efficient platform for the last-mile fleet". Unladen it can travel 50 km and configured for heavy lift it can haul up to 8 kg.
The new drone is designed to minimise potential points of failure and reduce the overall cost-per-kilometre of logistics operations, all while providing maximum payload flexibility.
The Pelican is available in multiple configurations featuring the RDS2 UAS winch, or a simplified servo-release. Additionally, the cargo bay can be fully customised. (cj)
