RCG achieves CDP B rating
The ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (RCG) has received a ‘B’ rating in the 2024 Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) climate assessment – outperforming the global average of ‘C’. This marks the third time RCG has reached this rating in the global ranking.
The CDP evaluates transparency and environmental action in thousands of organisations. RCG improved in governance, emissions reduction and scope 3 emissions. In the new water security category it scored a ‘B–’. RCG works to shift 30% of European freight to the railways by 2030. (js)
