RCG augments its European intermodal services
The Austrian Rail Cargo Group (RCG) is strengthening its intermodal network with two new rail services. Firstly, the group has launched a non-top TransFer service between Budapest in Hungary and Ploiesti in Romania to expand its already established weekly roundtrip connection with Munich.
The TransFER link does not only connect the two terminals but also creates ideal logistics solutions for continental transport units, RCG said.
As a second new service, the group has introduced a new train connecting Frenkendorf in Switzerland to its intermodal network as part of its direct transport routes between Wolfurt in Austria and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. The train connects Rotterdam and Wolfurt via Frenkendort with one roundtrip per week. (ben)
