Reporting record pharma growth
Air France KLM Martinair Cargo is seeing continued growth in its pharmaceutical and healthcare business, reaching record results in 2025. Speaking at last week's FlyPharma Amsterdam conference, SVP Commercial GertJan Roelands highlighted investments in infrastructure, digital monitoring and CO₂-based cooling systems at Amsterdam Schiphol and Paris CDG.
Operating from Europe’s leading pharma hub at Schiphol – where Dutch pharma exports reached USD 38.5 billion in 2024 – AFKLMP Cargo was among the first airlines certified under IATA’s CEIV Pharma programme. It works closely with forwarders and life-science shippers to ensure full GDP compliance.
"Pharma logistics is about trust and resilience," Roelands said. "Our mission is to deliver healthcare products safely and reliably." (ah)
