Rhenus MTG Mannheim joins NG.network in Germany
Rhenus MTG in Mannheim has officially joined the NG.network as a shareholder-operated site, making the site the eighth Rhenus road freight branch to be integrated into the group since Rhenus became a shareholder in September 2024.
Located in the industrial port of Mannheim, the site features a 30,000 m² yard, a 9,000 m² hall and 88 loading bays, with 88 employees working on site. It primarily serves the Mannheim metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
The NG.network sees this move as a strategic strengthening of a key region, particularly for inbound general cargo and chemical logistics. The cooperation relies increasingly on shareholder-operated branches to ensure quality and stability. The integration also enables greater freight volumes to flow into the network.
According to NG.network and Rhenus, the partnership boosts reliability for existing clients and supports the acquisition of new ones. Rhenus MTG continues to participate in the CargoLine network, allowing for synergies from both systems.
