Richard Morgan to lead Imea region
Shipping company A.P. Moller – Maersk has appointed Richard Morgan as regional managing director to lead its newly created Imea region. With this project, Maersk hopes to “look further into the future”, Morgan said.
With Imea, which stands for India, Middle East, and Africa, Maersk integrates two emerging markets with a geographically strategic location. The company plans to reach customers from Pakistan to Ghana by creating key hubs for ocean transport.
Morgan added that, as “market conditions are constantly changing”, Maersk will respond to the needs of its customers while seeking to achieve net zero emissions by 2040. (lh)
