Robots doing a cool job
Noatum Logistics, part of AD Ports Group, has launched its first robotically assisted cold chain warehouse in Lisbon, which will act as a hub for Noatum’s growing cold chain portfolio. The 12,000 m² facility, including 2,000 m² of temperature-controlled space, marks a milestone in the Group’s expansion across the West Mediterranean. Strategically located within Lisbon’s North Logistics Platform, the site offers multimodal connectivity to port, airport and key road networks.
The new warehouse is designed for highly specialised logistics, including food, pharma and FMCG. It features robotic stock control, cross-docking, weighing, customs and labelling services. Built with sustainable materials and equipped with rooftop solar panels, the facility is seeking LEED Gold certification. (ah)
