Röhlig: financial success in 2023
The 2023 financial year was a strong one for Röhlig Logistics and its ventures. Despite macroeconomic challenges, the logistics company achieved an ebit of ca. EUR 20 million. Successfully completed at the end of the year, the Blue Star programme contributed to the provider’s growth strategy and profitability.
Other success factors were the entries into new markets. The company’s expansions in Brazil and Japan and new offices in Asia/Pacific added to the core markets’ gross profit of EUR 222 million.
The sea and air freight markets were in steady decline, but by adapting its strategies, Röhlig managed to grow in this sector by 6%. For this year, the company is planning to grow its core business and bolster its digital expertise. This will be based on a new growth strategy focusing on people, network, and sales. (mk)
