Russian and Polish operators join forces

The Russian transport group FESCO and the Polish rail operator PCC Intermodal have agreed to develop services for expedited cargo deliveries from Japan, South Korea and China to European countries and vice versa through the Far East and the Trans-Siberian Railway.

According to the agreement, the companies are going to work on increasing the volumes of transit cargo shipped with the Trans-Siberian Landbridge service launched this summer, and to attract new customers (European in the first place) to the service.

FESCO and PCC Intermodal also agreed to conduct a series of business missions featuring participants from business communities and governments from the European Union, Russia, China, the Republic of Korea and Japan. (ben)
