                        Russian cargo throughput in German sea ports
The German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that the Russian Federation was the most important trading partner of the German seaports from January to November 2021, handling around 24.1 million t, 45% of which were fossil fuels.
Russia thus accounts for 9% of the 265.3 million t of goods handled in German seaports from January to November 2021. Sweden (23.7 million t) and the People's Republic of China (20.2 million t) followed in the ranking.
In the same period, 0.6 million t of Ukrainian goods were handled, 70% of which were products of the agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors. (sh)
